Aquaman journeys to the prehistoric kingdom at the center of the earth to encounter that world's own warrior-king. The two regal powerhouses don't exactly hit it off, but they soon must set aside their differences to contend with an even greater threat!Garth and Dolphin spend more caring for Cerdian, while Garth feels a sudden mystical disturbance. While Aquaman is forced by Vulko to attend to the matters of Atlantean business to get the city back on track following the string of devastation it has endured while meeting with the American ambassador who questions Aquaman for further use of the oil fields. However the conversation is broke up by Tempest arrival who warns Aquaman of a mystical arrival which he departs to meet leaving Garth in charge of the city as a sign of respect.Aquaman and Mera then arrive in the sector to find the fish fleeing from the area where they are sucked in by a whirlpool. They then come out and are met by a group of pirates who attack them for being "sea wizards" after which he calls in a dinosaur to destroy a ship. Soon after Warlord leaps into the water after him with Aquaman mistaking him as his deceased friend Oliver Queen. Warlord then brings the two aboard to tell them more of Skartaris and of his need for aid against the Ch'rin.
